We are happy to offer tours of the sanctuary where you can meet all the animals. Many of them even like to be petted! We will walk you around, tell you the story of how we got started, and how all the animals came to us. We are also happy to answer any questions you might have and you can take as many photos as you’d like (tag us please 😊)! More about the tours at the bottom of the page. We may join smaller groups together.

How much does it cost?
We ask visitors to make a donation of $50 per adult ($25 per child). We are happy to make accommodations if that’s not feasible for you!

How long is the tour?
About an hour

What animals will we see?
You will meet all the different species! See the Residents page for more info.

Is it child friendly?
We would tell kids to leave their parents at home if that was an option! 😁

Where are you located?
We are at 3460 French Rd in Clinton, about 10 minutes from the ferry on the south end of the island

Can we take pictures?
Yes please! Just remember to tag us when you post them.

Are dogs allowed?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome outside the enclosures! However if your dog is reactive with the animals, we may ask them to return to the car.

Can we bring food for the animals?
Absolutely! Apples, celery, lettuce, and other crunchy greens are all popular with the animals.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirt or slobber on. Boots are recommended in the summer and required in the winter.

What if we cannot afford the donation?
Please reach out to us, we are happy to make accommodations!
